Thursday 14 July - Sacramento Capitol, Old Town & Discovery Park

No WMA races today. In the morning I went down to Old Sacramento to do a training run. I met a couple of runners called Amy and Zac who guided me past the closed bike trail and on towards Discovery Park via Jibboom Street. I then did a loop in Discovery Park and returned to Old Sacramento. I took the opportunity to do a walking tour of Downtown Sacramento, round the Capitol building and back again. I spent the late afternoon at the pool then walked to the Hoppy Brewing Company at 65th and Folsom I had a couple of beers. and a burger, fries and shake at Famous Burger. I jogged back home, had one beer at Mountain Mikes and returned to my hotel.
